1.      One of the most important school subjects is mathematics. Although learning to read is important, if we do not know how to do simple sums, we will not be able to keep track of our finances. Besides everyday calculations such as figuring the best prices per weight in the grocery store/ we need to understand more complex computation to understand interest rates on our bank accounts and loans for major purchases. People who earn enough sometimes have financial difficulties because they do not understand the mathematics behind finances.

Mathematics is also important in other parts of our lives. For example, we have to measure and calculate numbers when we cook. We need to know about mathematical functions like fractions or multiplication when we decrease or increase the amounts depending on the number of people who are going to be eating. An error in sums could result in a bad-tasting meal.

2.      The electric streetcar was popular amoung the people in cities in the US after 1880. when an engineer invented a cable that could run from wire overhead to a streetcar’s electric engine. because there was this overhead wire, it wasn’t necessary to have dangerous electric rail running along the street, and it was a very important feature of the electic streetcar.
During the next 20 or 30 years are so, from 1880 onwards, the electric streetcar was very popular with passangers in big cities all over the USA. It was very efficient, carrying large numbers of passangers without costing very much money for the passengers. However, early in the next century, automobile manufacturers and other business interests made an effort to get rid of all the streetcar in the streets of big cities and replace them with buses and cars.

                                                                                            

English business

The importance of English for students. From the time I was a kid until now in college to learn about the English language. I went to high school in La Tansa Islamic Boarding School, where I studied English of words into sentences and until now I was in college at the University Gunadarma still learning English. whether it is from basic English to business

The question is, why until now I am still learning English at university and why English is very important and necessary???

      Because in my opinion:

1.      English is needed to get a good job with a salary that "fit" and good working conditions

2.      English is needed to apply for a job as a value-added, has the ability in English and get a job at all of the company.

3.      English is needed to determine how the image of English affected how people who speak English

4.      English is needed to communicate in a freely with people from different countries

Do not say too late, before you try that learning English is fun ^_^
